The graphic below
shows an example of an EcStatic session. Here's what's happening:
- The user opens an EcStatic
system file called ccd.ecs.
- The user chooses the
Correlation procedure from the Procedures menu, and specifies three
variables to be included, called AGE, RISK, and NDAYS.
- EcStatic displays the
results as a correlation matrix.
- Next, the user decides to
use the Case selection utility, specifying that only cases in which
AGE is greater than 65 should be included in subsequent
calculations.
- Finally, the user runs the
Correlation procedure again, producing the correlation matrix with
the case selection criterion in effect.
